Birgit Mazur becomes Joint Managing Director of SNCF Fret Deutschland GmbH (Captrain Solutions) and takes over as Director of Sales for Captrain Deutschland GmbH

Gütersloh, 08.01.2014 – with effect from 1 February 2014, Birgit Mazur (37) will become Joint Managing Director of SNCF Fret Deutschland GmbH (Captrain Solutions) with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main. She will in future manage the company's affairs together with Philippe Golder (40), who has worked for Captrain Solutions since 2006 and was appointed Managing Director in 2011. On 1 March 2014, Mazur will also take over as Director of Sales for Captrain Deutschland GmbH (CT-D). This move will enable the German-based Captrain companies to strengthen their joint sales activities, in order to offer their customers a wider range of
European services in future.

Mazur has worked for Captrain Deutschland since March 2010 in various roles, most recently as Managing Director of TWE Bahnbetriebs GmbH (TWEBB), Captrain Denmark ApS (CT-DK) and Captrain Sweden AB (CT-SE). In order to be able to completely fulfil her new responsibilities, Mazur will step down from the board of TWEBB, CT-DK and CT-SE when she assumes her new role. Her successor will be Jan Simons (47), a mechanical engineering graduate and Master of Business Administration. Simons has many years' international management experience, most recently holding this position in the packaging industry.
