The first unloading of a 120-meter rail at Siedlce and Międzyrzecz Podlaski stations
On March 17 and 18, Captrain Poland and its partners from Germany conducted a test unloading of a 120-meter rail at Siedlce and Międzyrzecz Podlaski stations. The unloading was carried out with the use of a specialist system, which increases the safety of employees and minimizes the risk of rail damage to a great extent. It has been successfully used in Western Europe for many years. The device can be used to unload both inside and outside of the track, and provides an option to re-load a rail to cars. We are confident that its broad capabilities, versatility and safety improvement will soon become a standard in the Polish railway network. This is evidenced by the strong interest of our Clients, who see the advantages of the system under tests and want to modernize the unloading process of long rails.
